By using the Games Bot Discord bot (referred to as "the Bot"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Bot.
The Bot lets users play nine games inside Discord: rock paper scissors
(/rps), tic tac toe (/ttt), connect four
(/connect4), hangman (/hangman), bowling
(/bowl), dice (/dice), the 8 ball
(/ball), a coin flip (/coinflip), and guess a
number (/guess). It also provides utility commands for help,
credits, invites, support, latency, server count, and Top.gg voting. Users
are solely responsible for how they use the Bot and must comply with
Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
You agree to use the Bot responsibly and to refrain from using it for any malicious, harmful, or abusive purposes. You shall not engage in cheating, harassment, or any behavior that violates the fair play principles of the games. Users should maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude while using the Bot.
Four of the Bot's games take your move as a typed message:
/hangman, /guess, /ttt and
/connect4. While one of these games is waiting for a move,
the Bot reads the next message sent in that channel by the player whose
turn it is. It does not read messages outside an active game, and it does
not store message content. See the
Privacy Policy for details.
The Bot requires permission to send messages, embed links, attach files, and read message history in the channels where it is used. It requests the Message Content privileged intent from Discord solely to read typed game moves, as described above.
The Bot is provided on an "as-is" basis. The Bot's developer and operators are not responsible for any consequences that arise from use of the Bot. This includes, but is not limited to, any game outcomes, interactions with other users, or any technical issues. The Bot may be unavailable at times, and games in progress may be interrupted without notice.
Scinovus Crafted, the developer of the Bot, reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Bot at any time without notice. This may include adding or removing features, adjusting the behavior of the Bot, or temporarily disabling its functionality.
The Bot stores Discord user IDs and Top.gg vote streak data outside of Discord, and reads message content transiently to determine game moves without storing it. All handling of user data is described in full in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these TOS.
You agree to hold Scinovus Crafted harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Bot in violation of these TOS or applicable laws. This includes claims from third parties affected by your actions while using the Bot.
Scinovus Crafted reserves the right to update these TOS at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the Bot after those changes constitutes acceptance of the modified TOS.
